electronarchy is a collective effort that aims to empower communities to curate and promote events autonomously
we have put together a web app that collects event submissions, lets admins approve them, and displays them on a sortable calendar. the application is open-source and can be self-hosted. documentation for hosting and a roadmap of upcoming features are works in progress
this first instance of the shows app is an example of what one can do with the software, and it serves our community. give it a try and let us know what you think
please use the submissions form for listing your events. we will approve post as soon as we can, and we are working on an email adapter to send notifications when submissions are approved
